Hi all! I’ve been thinking a lot about what looks most flattering on me lately, because I have some post-baby pounds I’m not happy with. I know these aren’t unusual thoughts; I’m pretty sure every woman critiques herself in the mirror at one point or another.
Here’s the thing though: I’m tired of letting those thoughts control me. Are there some styles that make me look skinnier than others? Absolutely. Are ALL the styles I love like that? Nope. And, guess what…it’s OK not to care!
Last year I posted about white jeans: how much I loved them and how I was working on enjoying a great outfit, regardless of how it makes my thighs look. I’m obviously still working on this because the first thing I did when I saw these pictures was start picking apart my body.
Ugh – guys, why do we do that to ourselves?? So today, let the record show that I’m throwing up pics of amazing pink pants (I mean really, hot pink pants!?!) because they’re fabulous and bright and they show the world who I am – not because they make me look skinny. (Because they don’t. And that’s OK.)
I wanna hear if you have an outfit that makes you feel amazing!
