Ads, Affiliates and Sponsored Content

Hey all!  Here’s a quick explanation of some partnerships you might see happening around these parts:

I make use of advertisements, affiliate links and occasionally sponsored posts in order to receive a little compensation for the enormous amount of time and resources that it takes to run a blog.  It’s been my favorite job in the world, but it does require a huge sacrifice away from my family!

Affiliate Links

An affiliate link is when I link to a product that I love and get a very small commission if someone clicks and/or purchases through that link. It never costs you anything extra.

Sponsored Posts

Sponsored content is a post that was either paid for or otherwise compensated by a third party.  I only accept jobs from companies that I trust and only endorse products that I use and love.  My opinions and experiences are always 100% honest!

The Fine Print

I do have to disclose these sponsored posts by law, however, which means that sometimes they sound kind of “commercial-y” (I’m almost always given the exact wording I have to use for these disclosures).  Just know that I always include valuable content for my readers in these sponsored posts (not just an ad) because your trust is important to me!

Thanks so much for being here.  I love blogging and sharing tips, tutorials and experiences with you guys.  It’s the best job in the world!

XOXO
Bonnie

Note: I’m a HUGE Amazon fan and so I include lots of affiliate links to their site.  I’m required to disclose the following as one of their affiliates: “We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.”
