I’m never really very inspired to sew my own pj’s or loungewear because, let’s face it, aren’t all sweats and t-shirts equally comfy for being grungy? Except, that is, when it comes to jogging pants. This is one trend that I just can’t get enough of because these bad boys are basically the fashion police’s permission to wear pajamas any time, any where.
I’m part of the blog tour for the new M is for Moto Joggers pattern and they are awesome! I actually already own a jogger pattern but wasn’t super happy with the fit so I was excited to try a new one. These sewed up SO fast and are seriously the coziest pants ever.
I made just two small changes while making this version, due to personal preference: I took in the crotch seam by about 1/2″ in the front and back since I don’t care for any extra fabric around my well-endowed thighs. I also shortened the cuff about 2″ since I’m short.
I can’t decide what my favorite part about these is…the moto detailing at the knee, the b & w striped faux drawstring or the fabric.
I found this sweatshirt knit at Joann Fabrics and the color is perfection! Like a heathered, faded burgundy. And the coziness factor is off the charts. I could live in these!! Well, when we actually get some sub-80 degree weather….
Aaaand, the rear view. You’re welcome.
Go ahead and zoom in to read that fine print on my bosoms. Basically the story of my life. #truth
Check out Hatchlings Patterns’ blog for the rest of the tour and get more inspiration for my favorite look: lazy chic. Plus, the pattern is on sale for under 7 bucks during the tour!

October 28, 2015 at 6:33 pmBonnie, the color of that fabric IS perfection! And I agree, these are seriously the most comfy pants. (I was afraid it was just me.) I also love that black and white drawstring. I didn’t put one on my pair, but I think I will on one of the next!

You could have been sewing us up matching clothing for every occasion and illegal activity!! Also, I must buy that shirt! Or at least something that has that quote on it!!
