Springing for shirtdresses

Let’s talk shirtdresses, ladies!  When it comes to spring fashion, this is seriously my favorite trend.  Today the spotlight is on button-down shirtdresses but I love T-shirt dresses equally, for a more casual and comfy vibe.

The army green number I’m wearing in these pics is from Old Navy and I LOVE it!  It’s comfy, flattering, modest and a gorgeous color.  Even though I hand washed and air dried it, it still shrunk a tiny bit.  It still goes to my knees, though, which is hard to find in shirtdresses.   A button down shirtdress is perfect for lunch with girlfriends, dinner out or even church!  I love it with flat sandals like the ones I’m wearing here, (so many cute colors!) but I also wear it with wedges, mules, booties, heels or even loafers. This floppy hat (mine is sold out but look at ALL these cute options!!) and snake-print tote are some of my favorite Spring accessories too.

BONUS: nursing friendly!  I’m almost done weaning Marilyn (cue ALL THE TEARS!) but still relying on outfits like this that are easy to reveal myself in (ha!).  In short, I love these things (like my Easter dress and the blue striped version!).  Is anyone else a huge fan of the button-down dress??
