I’ve been sharing a bit about my skin cancer diagnosis and treatment plan on Instagram recently and so I made this video to explain the process of how I found my spot, the diagnosis, and what we decided to do to remove it.

It’s been a bit scary since they found it on my face and I’ve had lots of feelings of guilt, worry and some wounded pride as I contemplate potentially having a scarred face. I know it’s not a big problem in the grand scheme of things but it’s been big for me and my little world. I wanted to share my story to hopefully help others if they find themselves in the same position!

If you want to read a couple other stories, check out Mel’s and Riva’s posts – they have so much great info! They really helped me decide to go in and get my spot checked out and I’m so glad I did. Please feel free to ask any questions and I’ll try my best to answer them! It can be a scary thing but it’s not the end of the world – I promise!

UPDATE: Be sure to check out this post and video to see how the procedure went!
