Wearing leggings and a tunic doesn’t mean you have to look sloppy! Check out this comfortable and easy-to-wear outfit with an upgrade. Great for working women, stay-at-home moms or anyone in between!
As much as I love dressing up a bit as a mom (a surefire way to make yourself feel human again!), sometimes it’s freezing outside and I’m lazy and just want to stay in pjs all day.
So my absolutely perfect outfit for a busy (but equally tired) mom looks a lot like this: a comfy, oversized tunic, stretchy elastic-waist leggings, with comfy slip-on shoes. This look fits all that criteria, with a few things that make it nice enough for a meeting with a colleague or your naughty kid’s principal. Hehe.
Admittedly, I don’t own a lot of cable knit sweaters (because PHOENIX), but this one has an open enough weave that it’s just warm enough without making me sweat to death. The big cowl turtleneck is extra cozy too.
And the faux leather leggings take my favorite stretchy pants to the next level! They’re shiny and cute without being uncomfortable in the least.
I mentioned these loafers on Intagram stories a few weeks ago, wondering if they looked too “Michael Jackson-y” but the colossal response from my lovely readers was “IS THERE SUCH A THING??” I decided to keep them and they’ve been fantastic! They’re from Naturalizer which means that they’re the comfiest shoes on the planet and they go with everything. SCORE!
What do you other moms out there think of this upgraded momiform? Does yours look anything like mine?

Also, some amazing sunglasses I just bought (ahem, in 3 colors) on Amazon for $10.
I found one place that still has these shoes in the black and white here!
Plus the eyeshadow palette I’m wearing in these pictures is the best thing since sliced bread: a color-by-numbers approach to eye makeup.
Earrings from Nickel and Suede.
