Faux leather, faux fur? Faux sho’! Hahaha. Seriously though, I’m just loving all these affordable trends this winter. I may have grown up thinking fur was tacky but my 18 month stint as a missionary in Russia sure cured me of that. In Moscow, fur is absolutely fabulous…not to mention a necessity when it gets so cold your nose hairs freeze.
My cute 16 year old babysitter showed up to church wearing this ridiculously awesome cardigan and I almost stole it off her right then and there (but we were in church, so I withstood the temptation). I made a mental note to go check it out later on when she showed up on my doorstep with another one just like it as a late Christmas present! So sweet, right? You ALL should have a babysitter as awesome (and as willing to watch a billion crazy kids) as ours.
Sadly, Phoenix’s heat wave has come early this year (er, like EVERY year) and it’s only cold enough to wear a fur-lined cardigan at night or in the movie theater. But I’m still rocking this bad boy and sweating whenever I get the chance, especially with a pair of black stretchy pants. Just for fun.
