Coaching for Moms

Being a mom requires massive amounts of physical, emotional and mental exertion…not to mention making time for your own self-care! Sometimes we just need someone in our corner helping us move past feelings of overwhelm, self-criticism and frustration. I’m here to help by offering coaching for moms.

I recently announced via social media that I’ve begun a coaching business to help moms, specifically those who primarily stay-at-home with their little ones.

There’s something uniquely challenging about being home most of the day with small children, and thanks to COVID and remote work, more and more mothers are understanding just how trying this role can be.

A little overview of coaching

What coaching ISN’T: This isn’t professional therapy and I won’t give you a list of behaviors to change or things that are “wrong” with your life.

What coaching IS: a chance to talk to another mom about the thoughts and feelings that are holding you back from being truly happy and fulfilled.

We have the best intentions as mothers, wives and homemakers, but often get in our own way by comparing ourselves with others, entertaining thoughts of perfectionism, or harboring unrealistic expectations of our loved ones.

Sometimes all that lies in the way of feeling peaceful and contented is a change in how we view the world around us and encouragement to take back our power over our own feelings.

Why am I doing this?

I decided to start coaching for the same reason I’ve started my blog, podcast and Novalie… it just felt like the right choice. Usually, once I started exploring a new idea that has to do with helping moms, I have a hard time getting it out of my head.

As much as I love co-producing Outnumbered, writing blog posts and sharing on Instagram, nothing can compare with talking one-on-one with another mom who’s struggling. I have thoroughly been touched by every one of the mothers I’m privileged to coach.

I personally have a whole group of friends, coaches and mentors in my corner who have helped me overcome feelings of inadequacy and loneliness. I hope to become a part of YOUR support team, as we uncover your incredible potential as a mother and a human being.

How does coaching work?

You can learn a little more about coaching for moms here, as well as see my rates and apply to be coached.

Once you send in your information, watch your inbox for a link to my call schedule. If my calendar is currently full or I don’t think I’m the right coach for you, I’ll also let you know via email.

During our 50 minute call, I’ll ask questions and we’ll talk about what you’re having trouble with. I’ll explain some really useful tools for getting around those tricky thoughts and feelings and how to put yourself in a position to create more joy in your day.

My ultimate goal is to better empower YOU to work past your daily struggles.

The most powerful lesson I’m learning as I meet with moms all over the country is this: we women tend to hold ourselves to impossibly high standards…and then see our inability to measure up to those standards as an indication that we are not valuable.

I wish each of you could see the incredible strength and resilience of the mothers I’ve met with and be reminded that our value has nothing to do with our performance.

I’m happy to to answer any other questions you have; just leave them here in the comments or shoot me an email at hello@bonnieandblithe.com. I look forward to hearing from you!

I’m looking for someone to help me time manage effectively as a home schooling pregnant mom of 5. I want to feel like I’m doing more than barely surviving every day and I just can’t figure out how to get there on my own. I don’t want to start a business or add more for me to do, I just want to be able to do the things I need to do and feel like I’m actually living instead of surviving. Is this something you do?
